    For sale is an original October 6, 1948 issue of The Sporting News previewing the World Series between the Cleveland Indians and the Boston Braves, which the Indians won 4 games to 2.  The issue is complete and in excellent condition except for some paper loss on the front cover. These look great matted and framed. You can own a piece of history. I have several issues for sale from the 1940s through the 1960s, just ask. This would be a great gift for any sports fan.
